The software package JCMsuite is based on most advanced finite-element methods. It allows for precise and efficient computation of electromagnetic field distributions in nano- and micro-structured devices. It is typically used for optics design and for reconstruction in metrology applications. The image visualizes field distributions in a microstructured and twisted fiber.
