temilux® LG (LED - Lightguide)
LED light is coupled into the temilux® LG element via the edge and is out-coupled by micro-patterns applied on the surface. These micro-patterns allow a single side out-coupling of the LED light resulting in an improved light efficiency. Custom tailored light distributions e.g. Gauss or batwing light distributions with different out-coupling angles are possible. The thickness of the temilux® LG elements ranges from 0.5 mm up to several millimeters.
Injection Mold Insert with Rainbow Structur
For the purpose of injection molding either Nickel shims of 1mm–3mm thickness or Nickel shims which are mounted on a steel block will be used. This technique allows the manufacturing of mold inserts with several centimeter thickness, which are cut by wire cutting according to the required dimensions. The Nickel shims can be patterned with a huge diversity of micro- and nanostructures. Even mold inserts with curved micro-patterned surfaces can be produced to a certain extend.
holotools® Rainbow Structur (960mmx720mm)
The holotools® brand stands for large area and seamless imprint tools. holotools® uses laser-interference-lithography as a parallel exposure process. The nanostructure is not written sequencially in lines, but exposed in one shot without any seam. Therefore, this technology is especially applicable for very large formats offering a unique origination method for a variety of micro- and nanostructures. holotools® imprint tools are used for injection molding and roll imprint processes.
